Laudator for the Stuttgart project: Sami Khedira
The Ausbildungscampus Stuttgart was honored by Chancellor Angela Merkel as one of the ten best integration projects nationwide. The laudatory speech was given by Stuttgart-born professional soccer player Sami Khedira. He was a member of the five-member award jury. Thirty-three projects were nominated, proposed by various institutions. The training campus was nominated by the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK). The award was accepted at the Chancellor’s Office by the head of the Job Center, Jürgen Peeß, and the chairman of the Training Campus, as well as the chairman of the Citizens‘ Foundation, Irene Armbruster.
